All organisations who receive UK Aid Match funds must undertake a due diligence assessment. This is to assess whether the organisation and its local project implementation partners have the necessary policies, processes, governance systems and resources to deliver the project successfully. A UK Aid Match grant may be conditional on the implementation of recommendations that arise from the due diligence assessment. These may need to be resolved before the grant starts or during the first months of the project, depending on the importance of the recommended action.
